Job Title: Capacity Optimizer

We are seeking a highly skilled Capacity Optimizer to join our team at IK Hofmann. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for evaluating individual bookings under operational and economic conditions, making informed decisions to optimize flight loads, and collaborating with our Revenue Manager to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate individual booking queues, considering operational, economic, and quality specifications.
  • Calculate and adjust gross volumes for bookings as required.
  • React promptly to capacity changes and adjust flight loads accordingly.
  • Block space and weight for certain bookings to ensure efficient load planning.
  • Optimize individual flights while adhering to C2K regulations.
  • Transfer flights to the load planning department, considering shipment ranking in case of planned or unplanned overbooking.
  • Flag shipments accepted to compensate potential no-shows as "CAD".
  • Improve load factors by accepting freight onto earlier flights.
  • Communicate process barriers within RM processes to the regional process manager.
  • Assist in removing barriers within the work environment.
Requirements:
  • GED/High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Rotating shift schedule, including 8am-4:30pm, 10am-7pm, and 12pm-9pm.
  • Monday to Saturday operation, 7am-9pm.
