Conduct thorough research on facility equipment specifications and performance criteria to create designs compatible with current manufacturing or processing capabilities.

Analyze engineering proposals, process needs, and relevant technical data related to the design of industrial machinery and equipment for facilities.

Assess the feasibility of designing new plant equipment or modifying existing facilities, taking into account costs, spatial constraints, time restrictions, company objectives, and other technical and economic considerations.

Provide essential technical information regarding manufacturing or processing methods, materials, properties, and the advantages and limitations of processes that influence long-term plant and product engineering strategies.

Gather and analyze facility research data to set performance benchmarks for newly designed or upgraded equipment.
Review engineering and technical literature to stay updated on advancements and changes within the industry.
Utilize computer-aided engineering and design software to execute engineering tasks effectively.
Lead projects and coordinate project teams.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred, or equivalent experience and training.
Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
If the role pertains to the medical sector, the following expertise, experience, and qualifications are essential:

Expertise in one or more of the following areas: clean rooms, walk-in coolers and freezers, RO/DI water systems, waste neutralization, compressed gas distribution systems, vacuum systems, process chillers, and non-clean utilities.

Experience in manufacturing plant construction within a cGMP environment, preferably in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
Involvement in facilities engineering construction activities across MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Process) disciplines.
Experience in Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review (FRACAS).
Familiarity with utilities such as steam, cooling media, heating media, water systems, and compressed air.
