Moscow, Idaho, United States Gritman Medical Center Full time

Position Overview:

Role Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Resident (CNR) is an entry-level nursing professional who has recently completed a nursing program and possesses less than one year of clinical experience, or a nurse who has been out of practice for more than five years.

The CNR participates in a comprehensive 12-month Residency Program, following which they will transition to a Staff RN role with a commitment to serve for an additional 18 months, inclusive of the residency period.

CNRs receive enhanced training, skills evaluation, and ongoing support throughout their initial year of employment.

As licensed professional nurses, RNs are responsible for conducting direct and indirect assessments of patients, developing care plans, delivering patient care, and monitoring outcomes, ensuring proficiency in all aspects of the nursing process.

The Staff RN collaborates with all members of the healthcare team, including patients and their families, to formulate effective patient care plans.

Staff RNs are tasked with communicating patient conditions to physicians and/or licensed independent practitioners, as well as securing necessary orders for care.
