Job Summary

The dishwasher will perform various kitchen duties, including pot washing, dishwashing, general cleaning, and storing food and non-food supplies. The successful candidate will operate dishwashing equipment, distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils, and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Distribute and store clean pots, dishes, and utensils
  • Empty trash containers as required
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Hold current ServSafe or Food Handler certification
  • Be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
