About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dishwasher Custodian at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a key member of our Nutritional Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all food preparation surfaces, counters, and shelves in the kitchen following each meal.
  • Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring it is properly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Sweep and mop the kitchen floor after each meal, removing trash and debris as assigned.
  • Wash and sort flatware, serving dishes, china, and glasses, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Previous food service experience desirable.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain state-specific certifications.
  • Servsafe certification preferred.
