About the Role

The Maintenance Director will be responsible for ensuring the life safety of all residents, visitors, and employees within the facility. This includes troubleshooting and repairing various systems, ensuring compliance with state and federal codes, and working with administrators to improve facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the life safety of all residents, visitors, and employees within the facility.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal codes and regulations.
  • Work with administrators to improve facility operations and present a welcoming, home-like appearance.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to improve facility operations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of five years in a working environment
  • Minimum two years construction or trade experience
  • Minimum one year management or supervisory experience
  • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience preferred
  • Prior experience within a healthcare environment with knowledge of state and federal guidelines
  • LTC experience preferred
