About the Role

We are seeking a talented Naval Architect/Marine Engineer to join our team at Art Anderson. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform stability and structural calculations, preparing drawings, reports, trade studies, and other technical documentation.
  • Develop and implement design solutions for shipbuilding and marine engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • 0 to 5 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in concept, early-stage, contract, and detail design and knowledge of classification society rules and regulatory body requirements is a plus.
Desired Qualifications
  • Shipboard or work experience in a shipyard environment.
  • Experience using industry standard software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, NAVCAD, GHS, and FEMAP.
