Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Crider Foods. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Security: Provide security for the facility, including logging in and reporting incoming trucks, performing truck inspections, controlling visitor access, and monitoring parking lots.
  • Incident Reporting: Record and report security incidents, including maintaining accurate and detailed logs.
  • Access Control: Manage and maintain parking decal lists, temporary access badges, and visitor access to the facility.
  • Logistics: Control vehicle access to the facility, manage contractor and delivery truck driver access, and perform inspections on incoming and outgoing trucks.
  • First Aid: Transport injured employees to doctor visits as needed.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer Skills: Have good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of facility security experience.
  • Licenses: Maintain a valid driver's license at all times.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Physical Abilities: Be able to walk and stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 40lbs.
