This role will be responsible for providing technical support to quality and quality engineering functions, conducting quality control inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards. Statistical data will be captured and analyzed from processes to confirm compliance or identify deviations from standards. Recommendations for new or enhanced methods, procedures, and standards may be proposed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and monitor inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to adhere to established quality standards.
  • Establish inspection protocols, define sampling procedures, and determine equipment and mechanisms for the testing process.
  • Recommend changes in specifications of materials, parts, and products based on inspection results.
  • May formulate and revise quality control policies and procedures.
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees with some responsibility for personnel actions, including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Required Education and Experience: Associate's Degree and 3-5 years of experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
