Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and services to our residents.

About the Role

The Resident Care Associate will be responsible for providing direct care and support to residents in our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This includes assisting with daily activities, implementing individualized care plans, documenting services provided, and fostering an environment where residents can maintain their dignity and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  2. Implement individualized care plans and document services provided.
  3. Foster an environment where residents can maintain their dignity and quality of life.
  4. Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, peers, and supervisors to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  5. Contribute insights to the care planning process by sharing observations of residents' needs and preferences.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports of resident care and services provided.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience working in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Ability to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, as well as operate medication carts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff members.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine concern for the well-being of seniors and their families.

Salary Range

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
