Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the US Army's Southeastern Regional Network Enterprise Center at Fort Stewart, GA. This role involves managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, administer, support, and maintain server hardware, peripherals, software, and operating systems.
  • Support the design and implementation of network infrastructure to meet operational requirements, including planning for scalability, redundancy, and security.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, including access control, firewall rules, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Support and conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to ensure network integrity.
  • Monitor network performance and implement optimization strategies, such as traffic shaping, load balancing, and quality of service (QoS) configurations.
Requirements:
  • US Citizen
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level II Certification required (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, equivalent or higher)
  • One (1+) years of relevant experience with a comprehensive understanding of IT network infrastructures
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field
  • Migration of systems and services to a cloud environment
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
