Position Overview:
Varstaff is looking for a Mechanical Engineer II to join our team. This role is primarily focused on aerospace structural analysis and requires a candidate with a strong background in mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of load paths and spacecraft structures.
  • Integrate structural analysis with environmental factors.
  • Develop finite element models and perform strength assessments.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of a B.S. Degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, along with a solid understanding of structural fundamentals.

Desired Skills:
Candidates with experience in vehicle load path definition, composite design and analysis, and structural optimization will be preferred. Familiarity with ProEngineer Wildfire 4 / Creo Parametric or later versions, as well as knowledge of human spaceflight, is advantageous.

Citizenship Requirement:
Must be a U.S. citizen or possess lawful status in the U.S.
