Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Technician III- Structures to join our team. As a key member of our Structures team, you will be responsible for building human-rated orbital launch vehicles. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of our spacecraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and operate precision calibrated tools, such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and optical measuring instruments.
  • Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds to achieve common goals.
  • Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person, to ensure effective teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Repetitively climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas to assemble and inspect spacecraft components.
  • Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs, to meet production deadlines.
  • Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, truck-trailer combinations, and other ground support equipment as required.
  • High School diploma or GED required; industry certification, trade school training, and/or degree in a related field a plus.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication, particularly in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of proper drill speeds and feeds for materials being worked, including aluminum, titanium, Inconel, and composite stacks.
  • Ability to manage flight and non-flight hardware, including the application of sealants, adhesives, paints, and primers.
  • Experience in handling large aerospace components and assembling large tight-tolerance structures.
  • Experience in new product introduction and a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing a plus.
