We are working with Medicus Healthcare Solutions to find a qualified Radiology MD for a locum Breast Imager position in Oregon.
Position Details- Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Trauma Level: 4 (No ER volume).
- Focus: Dedicated Breast Imaging role-no general radiology duties.
- Technology: Powerscribe dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting.
- Facilities:
- Silverton: 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms.
- Imaging Center: 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams performed).
- Team:
- 250 radiologists in the Seattle-based practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician.
- Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator.
- Role Support: Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates follow-up care for mammography patients.
- Patient Demographic: Adult patients.
