About the Opportunity

We are working with Medicus Healthcare Solutions to find a qualified Radiology MD for a locum Breast Imager position in Oregon.

Position Details
  • Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Trauma Level: 4 (No ER volume).
  • Focus: Dedicated Breast Imaging role-no general radiology duties.
  • Technology: Powerscribe dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting.
  • Facilities:
    • Silverton: 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms.
    • Imaging Center: 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams performed).
  • Team:
    • 250 radiologists in the Seattle-based practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician.
    • Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator.
  • Role Support: Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates follow-up care for mammography patients.
  • Patient Demographic: Adult patients.
