Job Title: Highway Project Manager

Benesch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of highway projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage all aspects of highway projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and coordinate the work of engineers, designers, and other project team members to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project management plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure that project requirements are met and that clients are satisfied with the final product.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Connecticut or planning to obtain licensure within one year.
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of relevant experience in highway project management.
  • Minimum of 4 years of task lead/project management experience for highways and local roads engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and projects.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with experience in working with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Microsoft Office experience, with proficiency in project management software.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience in managing multiple projects and priorities.
