Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Seabreeze Management Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our community centers and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and direct social activities and events, including planning and implementing recreational programs and activities.
  • Maintain a master calendar for use of rooms in the Community Center Complex and ensure that all necessary arrangements are made for Board of Directors and Board Committee meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and General Manager, and ensure that all building policies and procedures are being adhered to.
  • Work with the Activities Committee Chairperson to implement Clubhouse activities and special events.
  • Prepare requests for funds for events, social activities, and activity groups, and administer the Clubhouse Activities Committee budget as approved by the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee all contractor/vendor work at Main Recreation Facilities and coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor for set-up requirements of maintenance personnel for major events in the Clubhouse.
  • Maintain the Bulletin Board, Clubhouse information center, and flyer rack(s) with current information at the Clubhouse and OCA Business Office.
  • Attend Committee and special group meetings by invitation of the Chairperson to explain Clubhouse use procedures and coordinate social and recreational activities with all appropriate groups.
  • Perform 24-hour on-call service as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and State mandated vehicle insurance required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
  • Knowledge of janitorial, basic maintenance, and security procedures required.
  • Knowledge of OSHA guidelines in the performance of duties required.
  • Working knowledge of payroll processing required.
  • Facilities management skills required.
  • Physically able to perform position responsibilities required.
  • Basic mathematics skills required.
