Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production schedules and quality control processes
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
  • Monitor production to resolve issues and ensure output meets quality standards
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing environments, specifically in automotive, industrial, or fabrication
  • Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or Production Manager with excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Production, planning, material control, and quality initiatives experience
  • Computer literate, advanced MS Office Suite of applications
  • Ability to perform in a dynamic and high-energy environment with the capability to manage multiple projects
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate articulately and persuasively with all levels of teams, including senior management
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of precision
  • Positive disposition with a desire to assist others to achieve common goals
  • Must be able to operate a forklift
  • Possess a valid California drivers license with a safe driving record
