Key Responsibilities- Strategic Fundraising Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to drive growth and engagement across all constituencies.
- Lead a dynamic team responsible for all fundraising activities in Connecticut and Rhode Island.
- Collaborate with the President and CEO to ensure successful delivery on fundraising goals and objectives.
- Donor Engagement and Stewardship
- Cultivate, solicit, and close significant philanthropic investments from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective donor stewardship and recognition programs.
- Team Management and Development
- Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing development team.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of fundraising efforts.
- Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including foundations, corporations, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) to advance shared fundraising goals and objectives.
- Represent PPSNE at national and regional conferences, meetings, and events.
- Financial Management and Planning
- Develop and manage the annual fundraising budget and forecast.
- Monitor and analyze fundraising metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion
- Integrate equity, diversity, and inclusion principles into all fundraising strategies and activities.
- Develop and implement programs to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in fundraising efforts.
- Collaborate with the equity, diversity, and inclusion team to advance organizational goals.
- Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, with a proven track record of securing significant philanthropic investments.
- Experience in team management and leadership, with a focus on developing and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles, practices, and trends.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- CFRE certification or equivalent preferred.
