Job Overview

  • Product Labeling: Accurately label cartons and assemble products on pallets according to client specifications.
  • Pallet Wrapping: Ensure that pallets are securely shrink-wrapped for safe transportation.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct initial quality inspections to uphold product standards.
  • Documentation: Record piece counts on packing slips and submit completed paperwork for processing, along with other assigned tasks.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist in shipping operations as needed; prior forklift experience is advantageous.
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with six to twelve months of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, shipping documents, and correspondence. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in basic sentences.
  • Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
Physical Requirements:

This position requires the following physical capabilities:

  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, and on rare occasions, up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:

The work environment is typically moderate to loud, with employees frequently working near moving mechanical parts.
