Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Assembly Specialist to produce high-quality custom electrical components, fixtures, and more while following detailed Solidworks 3D prints to meet safety and quality requirements.

This is a full-time position with standard days and hours of work from Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. However, the Assembly Specialist is expected to dedicate the time required to meet the company's strategic plan when needed.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation:

$18 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical and/or electronic subassemblies or products
  • Perform high and low-voltage product testing
  • Provide troubleshooting expertise and guidance within assembly areas
  • Conduct product testing as part of the final inspection of the product
  • Clean and maintain the workspace
  • Organize and maintain raw materials and work in process within the work area
  • Complete production paperwork including work orders, sales orders, and quality/testing documentation
  • Assist with physical inventory audits by counting and tagging parts accurately
  • Understand, support, and execute all work in a safe manner using the established procedures, methods, and safe working requirements
  • Implements and maintains department policies and standards

Reports To: Production Manager

  • Ability to bend, push, pull, reach, grab, turn, twist, and/or stoop
  • Ability to grab small parts or hand tools with hands
  • Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, and co-workers as needed
  • Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues.
