Travel Consultant Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Ten Group. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our discerning clients, curating bespoke travel itineraries, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of local suppliers, destinations, and travel trends to provide expert recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their travel preferences and create personalized itineraries that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Utilize travel research tools and industry expertise to source the best options for clients, ensuring maximum value and competitive prices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of travel arrangements.
  • Manage and meet competing deadlines, while setting expectations with clients and ensuring continued communication.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of Ten Group's supplier relationships, ensuring continuous improvement and expansion of services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of travel booking experience, with a strong understanding of the travel industry and its trends.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resourcefully in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, with a commitment to supporting the delivery of Ten Group's environmental, social, and governance goals.
