A Parts Inventory Coordinator plays a vital administrative role in overseeing inventory management.

Position Details:
Two positions are available with shift hours: 1st Shift from 6:30 am to 2:51 pm or 2nd Shift from 2:30 pm to 10:51 pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide essential administrative support for supply chain operations, including stock taking transactions and placing orders for supplies, parts, and components.
  • Analyze and contribute to stocking policies, defining and updating stock parameters.
  • Manage stock parameters for maintenance spare parts to ensure their availability.
  • Ensure that the stock profile aligns with production requirements and supplier offerings.
  • Oversee stock levels and develop solutions to optimize inventory.
  • Maintain quality and consistency of critical data and parameters.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and maintenance teams to define the appropriate procurement mode: either on-hand inventory or ordered as needed (call-off stock) with agreed availability timelines.
  • Negotiate spare part pricing within the framework established by purchasing.
  • Issue purchase orders, ensuring validation by a third party, and manage deliveries, including quantity and quality inspections, as well as order and invoice disputes.
  • Oversee the repair process, including orders and shipping for repairs, delivery, and inventory updates.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through physical counts and manage obsolescence of parts.
  • Enhance equipment lifecycle costs through effective spare parts management.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Associate's degree required or a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
