Senior Property Operations Manager

Worth Ross Management Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with our community, leading and inspiring your team, and ensuring the overall success of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:- Foster Community Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, homeowners, and the community.
- Lead and Inspire: Train and motivate your team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Conduct Thorough Inspections: Perform regular walkthroughs to ensure the property is in top condition, addressing any issues promptly.
- Oversee Financial Health: Review financial statements, manage budgets, and report any discrepancies to the board.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance: Establish and maintain emergency guidelines, conduct fire drills, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Coordinate Moves: Manage move-in and move-out activities smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage Vendor Relations: Oversee third-party contracts and vendor performance, ensuring high standards are met.
- Manage Special Projects: Take charge of various projects, from processing violations to managing bids and authorizing payments.
- Educate and Inform: Keep the board updated on legislative changes affecting the HOA and ensure all members are well-informed.
- Plan Annual Meetings: Organize and manage all aspects of the annual meeting and election process.
- Utilize Support Staff: Collaborate efficiently with company support staff to accomplish daily tasks.
- Stay Prepared: Be available for after-hours emergencies, ensuring the community is always supported.
- Education: High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5-7 years in Property Operations and/or Hospitality, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CMCA, AMS, and/or PCAM Accreditation from CAI preferred.
- Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and people skills. Highly organized and able to prioritize effectively. Coaching and training abilities and an understanding of accounting principles are desired.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Language: English required; multiple language fluency is a plus.
- Availability: Ability to travel to multiple on-site locations as needed and respond to emergencies 24/7.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods.
- Occasional handling, grasping, and lifting of objects and packages.
- Extensive use of fingers for typing and visual use of the computer monitor.
- Ability to navigate the property/building quickly and easily.
- The majority of work is completed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment with little to moderate noise levels.
- Regular outdoor work for inspections, tours, or other property needs.
