Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Repair Specialist to join our team at Advanced Technology Services. As an Electronic Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for repairing complex electronic and mechanical equipment and tooling at the component level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain complex electronic and mechanical equipment and tooling
  • Perform intermediate product development and testing
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Build and maintain complex fixtures and tooling
  • Conduct warranty analysis and develop root cause solutions
  • Process and document service reports and other necessary paperwork
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, and five to eight years of related experience and/or training, or ten years of equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Strong understanding of electronics and mechanics, with intermediate to complex troubleshooting skills
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Working Conditions

The Electronic Repair Specialist will work in a factory environment, which may involve exposure to hazardous materials, greasy or slippery floors, and loud noise levels. The employee must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
