About the RoleThe Patient Account Representative will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and maintaining excellent communication with patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Process and manage patient accounts, including medical billing, insurance, and self-pay collections
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare providers, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company safety practices and maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical and/or psychiatric billing
- Significant healthcare billing experience required, with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance experience preferred
- MedSeries 4 patient accounting system experience a plus
