The Medical Record Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the hybrid medical record system at Nasson Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center. This position requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care services to patients while utilizing the Patient-Centered Medical Home model.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the hybrid medical record system, retrieving medical records as requested, and preparing submissions for external entities. Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient information is crucial, as well as compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications for this role include an associate degree in medical assisting, medical records, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare setting. Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnostic and procedure codes is essential, as is proficiency in standard office software and electronic health and practice management systems.

The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. A team-oriented approach and commitment to integration of medical, behavioral health, and dental services are also essential.
