Job Overview

Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Overview: Our educational institution is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become part of our team. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in working with children in a school setting and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional speech and language services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language requirements.
  • Design and execute personalized treatment strategies in partnership with educators and other specialists.
  • Deliver therapeutic services aligned with established treatment protocols.
  • Track and evaluate student progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other relevant discussions.
  • Offer support and insights to teachers, parents, and colleagues regarding speech and language development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with school-aged children.
  • Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is advantageous.
