About the Role

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of professionals in a school-based setting. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students' speech and language development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a cohesive support system for students, and assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
  • Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary, and maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program, and current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Certification and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of special education processes.
  • Interpersonal and Collaboration Skills: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
