Job Summary

Volunteers of America (VOA) is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team in providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals experiencing homelessness. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with participants, community partners, and other VOA programs to deliver evidence-based practices and promote mental health, resilience, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with participants, community partners, and other VOA programs.
  • Deliver individual and group behavioral health services, including counseling, care coordination, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring participant-centered and trauma-informed care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support, involving other staff, administration, and community crisis services as needed.
  • Collaborate with VOA staff to effectively deliver behavioral health interventions and promote a positive team environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Experience working with disadvantaged populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, and substance use disorders.
  • Eligibility to be licensed as an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) and ability to maintain licensure requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
