Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietetic Technician I to join our team at the HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION. As a Dietetic Technician I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with data collection for nutritional risk screening and dietary histories, including interviewing patients.
  • Provide individualized patient education and support.
  • Document and report observations of monitoring activities related to patient care, such as meal observations.
  • Work under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements
  • Attend work on a regular basis and be available to work a specific shift schedule or rotating schedule, extended shift, and/or overtime as needed.
  • Assist in collecting specified information to support nutrition screening of newly admitted patients.
  • Conduct meal observations of patients and document information to improve nutritional care.
  • Maintain records and files related to nutritional care of patients.
