Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership:

- Contract Management:

- Participate in financial planning and investment decision-making processes, providing insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to optimize resource allocation and capital deployment.
- Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks and uncertainties associated with government contracts, including compliance risks, performance risks, and market risks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies, contingency plans, and mitigation measures to minimize the impact of potential disruptions and ensure project success.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry standards, and best practices in risk management, and proactively update policies, procedures, and controls to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service level agreements (SLAs), and other metrics to evaluate project performance, client satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, post-implementation assessments, and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement, celebrate successes, and drive continuous performance improvement.
- Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to analyze trends, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights for optimizing resources allocation, decision-making, and strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in operations management at a firm with over $50 million in annual revenue, with a focus on government contracting and mission-critical solutions.
- Proven track record of leadership and success in overseeing complex government contracts, driving operational excellence, and achieving business objectives.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), contract management principles, and government procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively interface with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action, prioritize initiatives, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
