Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide optimum patient care and demonstrate knowledge and technical expertise to safely and correctly operate MRI equipment.
  • Perform and record daily QA and develop skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
  • Develop skills in Contrast Administration and demonstrate self-direction and utilize problem-solving techniques.
  • Cross-trained in another modality and maintain technical competency in the following less frequent order procedure (2 or more years experience).
  • Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and Radiographer credential.
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Significant manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity.
  • Significant occupational risk.
  • Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force.
  • Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The technologist will be expected to take call on a rotation and holiday call on a rotation.
