Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Danbury Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide optimum patient care and demonstrate knowledge and technical expertise to safely and correctly operate MRI equipment.
  • Perform and record daily QA and develop skills to practice in a safe, clinical environment.
  • Develop skills in contrast administration and demonstrate self-direction and problem-solving techniques.
  • Cross-train in another modality and maintain technical competency in less frequent order procedures.
  • Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • One year of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in MRI.
  • ARRT certification and a strong background in ultrasound or CT scan.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including weekends and holidays, and willingness to take call on a rotation.
