MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Akumin. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient safety and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and aseptic injection technique
- Operate multiple MR systems and produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Effectively communicate with customers, radiologists, and team members
- Train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- State license, if applicable
- CPR Certification
- Valid state driver's license, as applicable
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT
- 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive movements
- Ability to see, speak, and hear to communicate with patients and team members
