The Alaska Regional Hospital seeks an exceptional Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in our dynamic Progressive Care environment.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with medical providers and make a real impact on patient outcomes. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, advocating for patients, and supporting an unparalleled patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide expert pre-operative and post-operative nursing care to patients.
- Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor response, ensuring timely documentation in the patient medical record.
- Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical patient care.
- OBTAIN ADVANCED CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (ACLS) WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE.
- OBTAIN BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE.
- REGISTERED NURSE.
- ASSOCIATE DEGREE.
