Critical Care Nurse

The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, teaching skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. As a member of our team, you will prioritize nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identify needs for intervention.

Responsibilities:
- • Prioritize nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identify needs for intervention.
- Demonstrate appropriate decision making, critical thinking, and clinical judgment to make nursing decisions and identify health care needs.
- Evaluate and document each patient's response to medications, interventions, and procedures.
Requirements:
- Current Alaska nursing license in good standing
- Associate's Degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred
- One-year critical care experience required; Two years preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certified (ACLS)
