Pulmonary Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Pulmonary team at Emory University Hospital Midtown.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with pulmonary conditions.
  • Document patient care and medical records accurately and thoroughly.
  • Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
  • Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Pulmonary medicine as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
