Industrial Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team at Talnt. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and improving overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structured work instructions to improve assembly line efficiency.
  • Conduct labor standard analysis to ensure accurate costing and capacity planning.
  • Lead and participate in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct time studies, ergonomic assessments, and productivity evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee new product releases from design to production, ensuring proper documentation and methods are established.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in industrial engineering, including time studies and labor standard development.
  • Proficiency in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Ability to create and optimize work instructions, tools, and jigs.
  • Experience with process flow analysis, safety assessments, and productivity improvements.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration to resolve production issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in facility layout design and equipment procurement.
  • Familiarity with warehouse process optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills using creative and critical thinking.
  • Experience in releasing products from design to production with thorough technical documentation.
  • Capable of mentoring production employees on process improvements and standards.
