Available Schedules:
- Full-time: 75 hours per pay period; Day Shift 9:00am-5:00pm
- Part-time: 30 hours per pay period; Day Shift 9:00am-5:00pm
Weekend and Holiday Rotation:
Every other weekend and holiday as required.
Position Summary:
The Housekeeper role involves maintaining cleanliness in assigned resident areas and collaborating with the cleaning team to ensure that public spaces are tidy and hygienic. This position requires a commitment to performing routine tasks consistently while adhering to proper cleaning and sanitizing protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain resident bedrooms: responsibilities include vacuuming, emptying waste receptacles, changing linens, making beds, and dusting surfaces.
- Sanitize bathrooms: daily tasks include mopping floors, scrubbing toilets, tubs, sinks, and counters; replenishing paper products and toiletries as necessary.
- Care for kitchenettes: duties involve cleaning countertops, restocking coffee supplies, and checking the cleanliness of refrigerators and microwaves.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance needs or items requiring laundering.
- Ensure resident rooms are organized without disturbing personal belongings.
- Execute assigned cleaning tasks in common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and washing surfaces.
- Gather and transport cleaning supplies from the supply area to the work site.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning solutions and disinfectants to maintain assigned areas and prevent the spread of illness.
- Request assistance for moving heavy items and report any maintenance issues observed.
- Wash walls and other surfaces with suitable cleaning products.
- Collect and dispose of trash, clean waste containers, and replace liners as needed.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
Position Requirements:
- Preferred: Six months of relevant experience.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
