About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist Specialty to join our team at Reston Hospital Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs and provide information to diagnose patient illnesses.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures through proper positioning and image technique.
  • Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and all types of care to the patient.
  • Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA or documented equivalent education.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology: Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an RT(R).
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Ability to perform radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Experience in OR, particularly with spine surgery cases.
  • Prefer proficiency with O-ARM and Robotic Surgical Cases.
