Radiologic Technologist

At Reston Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for patient diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them correctly and adjusting equipment settings.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce radiographs, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education of the AMA or documented equivalent education.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Radiology.
- Experience in OR, particularly with spine surgery cases.
