Medical Response Specialist
High-Quality Patient Care Opportunity
We're seeking a Medical Response Specialist who is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality basic and advanced patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assess each call situation and determine the best course of action using progressive protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
- Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
- Take leadership and responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
- Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State EMT License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
- Compliance with company driving policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
- Some healthcare work experience preferred
