Job Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial marketing leader to run growth marketing across both sides of the Togetherhood marketplace, with an initial focus on the demand side: our clients (schools, school districts, community centers, religious organizations, and apartment buildings).

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for K-12 education and enrichment, as well as a healthy obsession with crafting customer marketing programs that foster deep retention, loyalty, and brand love.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Growth of our B2B client base, with an initial focus on developing top-of-funnel leads throughout the NYC metropolitan area, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
  2. Once those systems are in place, the responsibilities will also include growing the network of enrichment providers, teaching artists, coaches, and instructors throughout the New York metropolitan area and any other local markets that the company expands into.
  3. Build a sustainable, scalable, repeatable engine of growth levers that will help drive Togetherhood's business through the next stages of the company.
  4. Oversee all aspects of digital marketing, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO, SEM, and other relevant channels.
  5. Ownership over content marketing, developing a referral program, and qualified lead generation.
  6. Cultivation of the Togetherhood course catalog, ensuring that courses level up term over term and use effective marketing strategies.
  7. Collaboration with Operations, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Development to devise and execute Togetherhood's business strategy.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience driving impact in a growth marketing role, ideally in a marketplace business.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams, with excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ideal background in helping build edtech companies, specifically those focused on the K-12 market.
  • Driven by a desire to build deep, meaningful customer relationships.
  • Analytical and metrics-oriented, with experience using marketing and workflow automation tools and technologies such as Hubspot and Asana.
  • Strategic thinker and exceptional communicator, with a strong bias to action and sense of curiosity.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to build the things that will help us scale, and willing to ruthlessly prioritize the things that matter most.

Note: This is NOT a remote position. We have a beautiful office in Bryant Park, and at this stage in our company, it is very important to collaborate and work together in person.
