Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at Wedgewood Village Pharmacy, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production areas, including warehousing, formulation, filling, and inspection/labeling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and develop employees responsible for warehousing, formulation, aseptic filling, inspection, and labeling, as well as facility sanitization.
  • Provide strong leadership and create a positive work environment through effective communication, performance management, and accountability.
  • Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and related documentation are current, relevant, and up-to-date.
  • Analyze production errors, efficiencies, downtime, and waste, and lead teams to improve results.
  • Write investigations and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) actions for non-conformances in the department.
  • Manage staffing levels and budget spending.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP guidelines and standards.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, proficient in the use of spreadsheets and word processing programs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in aseptic processing and/or experience in tableting dose forms.
  • 1+ years' supervisory experience in a cGMP FDA-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Obtained a bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or scientific discipline.
