Job Overview

TIG Pipe Welding Specialist

This is a remarkable opportunity to engage with a leading Oil & Gas Services organization.

Position Details:
Compensation: $20+ per hour, commensurate with experience, plus overtime. Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision under a W-2 Contract to Hire.

Work Schedule:
All personnel are required to complete training on the weekday day shift (Monday - Thursday, 7am - 5:30pm) for a minimum of 3 weeks before transitioning to alternative shifts.

Shift Options:
Weekday Shifts:
Day: Monday - Thursday (7am - 5:30pm)
Afternoon: Monday - Thursday (2:30pm - 11pm) - $2 shift differential.

Weekend Shifts:
Day: Friday - Sunday (5am - 5:30pm) - $2.50 shift differential.
Night: Friday - Sunday (5:30pm - 5am) - $3.50 shift differential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient in TIG Pipe Welding is essential.
- Experience in fitting Process Pipe is required.
- Ensure sound welds through x-ray NDE and volumetric testing.
- Capable of testing in a 6g position with 2 & 6 inch pipe.
- Handle pipe from jack and strap to rack.

Additional Duties:
- Fabricate and assemble pipe products and other tubular items.
- Perform welding in various positions: flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead.
- Utilize tools for clamping, tack-welding, heat-bending, and grinding.
- Identify and rectify equipment and material malfunctions.
- Inspect work for quality assurance.
- Operate standard hand and power tools used in welding.
- Implement continuous improvement practices within the Manufacturing System.
- Manage fabrication-related Work Orders.
- Uphold safety and quality standards in material handling.
- Commit to ongoing improvement and effective quality management systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and product specifications.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in pipe or structural fabrication.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Compliance with safety and personal protective equipment standards.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
