Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect structures to identify potential obstructions and ensure safe pipe installation.
  • Locate and mark pipe positions, connections, and passage holes for pipes.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors as needed to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
  • Cut and thread pipe to required specifications.
  • Bend pipe to precise angles.
  • Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.
  • Join pipes using screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints.
  • Test pipe systems for leaks and ensure proper function.
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's degree or trade school
  • Experience: 3-5 years of related experience and relevant certifications
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
