Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Millwright Electrician with expertise in industrial automation to support our operations by ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and address electrical maintenance needs to support smooth operations.
  • Install, repair, test, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment and associated controls, including Allen Bradley PLCs, automation controllers, and HMIs.
  • Rotate shifts periodically and assist with troubleshooting electrical welding methods, handling high voltage (3 phase, 480V) as required.
  • Conduct periodic inspections, tests, and maintenance procedures on equipment to maintain optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret schematics and electrical terminations to diagnose root problems effectively.
  • Install and connect power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment installations.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in equipment, making repairs or replacements as necessary.
  • Communicate any electrical issues to engineering and plant management to facilitate timely resolutions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Electrician or Technician in an industrial setting, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) and automation systems.
  • Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems (3 phase, 480V).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
