Operations Support Specialist II

Position Overview:
This role is essential in delivering administrative assistance to the leadership team overseeing Exceptional Student Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming communications and direct them to relevant departments.
- Coordinate scheduling of meetings and manage travel logistics.
- Support divisional personnel with various projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of program-specific reports and correspondence.
- Contribute to policy development and participate in program evaluations.
- Gather and organize qualitative data, aiding in database management and website content updates.
- Research and draft policies and procedures related to legislative requirements and program regulations.
- Ensure compliance with data collection timelines and communication for Exceptional Student Services.
- Assist with travel arrangements for leadership and staff.
- Prepare necessary documentation and coordinate participant registration for events.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with computer systems and telecommunications software.
- Experience with Content Management Systems.
- Prior experience in administrative support roles is required.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective public and customer relations.
- Proficient time management techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate tasks efficiently.
- Competence in database management and problem-solving.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Abilities:
- Quickly assess situations and respond appropriately.
- Build trust and confidence with stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships.
