Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at DES Growth Partners, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, financial planning, and analysis, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily accounting operations, providing timely and accurate financial reporting, developing and enforcing policies and procedures, establishing and maintaining internal controls, and providing financial expertise that helps drive effective business decisions.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role. A CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Overseeing diverse accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate financial statement reporting.
  2. Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  3. Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP, laws, and regulations.
  4. Conducting financial risk assessments and recommending appropriate gap closures and maintenance.
  5. Working cross-functionally to drive the selection, implementation, and execution of all upgrades of financial systems and processes.
  6. Planning, coordinating, and leading annual external audit and tax return efforts for the organization.
  7. Providing technical guidance on various accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, business combinations, and other relevant topics.
  8. Developing and implementing accounting strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  9. Supervising and mentoring accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.

The Financial Operations Manager will be a key member of our finance team, working closely with leadership to drive business decisions and ensure the financial success of the organization.
