YWCA Greater Lafayette is seeking a highly organized and empathetic professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Shelter/Rape Crisis Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in organizational data management, supervision of staff, and knowledge of domestic violence shelter and/or rape crisis center operations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the 24/7 crisis line schedule and supervise part-time Shelter Advocates and full-time Night Shelter Advocate.
- Create monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistics and reports for the program.
- Facilitate a support group and provide direct client support as needed.
- Ensure operations are compliant with current Peer Review standards and Rape Crisis Center standards.
- Record, organize, distribute, and acknowledge all program donations at the Rape Crisis Center.
- Maintain client and program confidentiality.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and represent the organization in a professional manner at all required meetings and events.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage stressful or crisis situations.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as needed.
- Familiarity with common computer software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to obtain 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) annually.
